Hi Wendy, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I used to be a filmmaker. I have been in the entertainment industry most of my life. After getting married and having a child (and having Harvey Weinstein negatively affect my career) Hollywood just wasn’t practical for me anymore. I could not make movies and a family at the same time. I took some time off to raise my little girl and help my husband occasionally with his business. My husband Dr. Steven Svehlak is a successful plastic surgeon with his own practice in Beverly Hills.
